Though LPL Financial was originally established to serve the independent advisor, today we serve three customer groups:

  • Independent Advisor Services supports more than 12,000 independent and registered investment advisors.
  • Institution Services supports financial advisors at more than 750 regional and community banks and credit unions.
  • Custom Clearing Services supports approximately 4,000 advisors affiliated and licensed with insurance companies through a unique outsourcing arrangement.

About Jason Richart

Life is such a gift, and I cherish mine to the fullest. Part of that gift is having two wonderful women in my life, my wife Erin and our daughter Mila and son Keller. As a family, we are very physically active taking full advantage of our beautiful surroundings; I love to mountain bike, run, compete in triathlons and Crossfit. Both my wife and I have deep roots in the Redding area and are happy to call it home. Community and family are very important especially when raising a child, and we couldn’t think of a better place to continue our family traditions.

After graduating from Shasta High School, I attended the University of Arizona. While attending the UofA, I interned for a U.S. Senator which started my passion for helping others. After graduating college, I moved back to Redding and continued working in the public sector for the California State Assembly. Working for the State Assembly provided me the opportunity to meet many people and see many different communities. I enjoyed learning about people’s life experiences and their stories. It was an honor to help serve the constituents of the district, and working to help resolve many of their issues.

I was recruited to go into the public sector to work in the financial services industry. It provided me an opportunity to continue building life-long relationships while still focusing on helping people. The transition into the private sector allowed for a life-long goal of building a business. My dream was to build a business within my community and a legacy for my family. Since 2005 I’ve been helping people work towards achieving their personal and financial goals. It has been tremendously fulfilling to start a business from scratch, by pounding the pavement and turning it into a successful practice.

The basics are still the same, helping people and building lasting relationships. I want to add value to people’s lives. I will always love the feeling of when I tell someone they can take that ultimate family vacation they’ve been dreaming about, or buy that boat they’ve always wanted, or retire. I love helping dreams come true.
